Storytime and Blogging Friend
My sister came over again to help me out today. We did make it to storytime on time...AGAIN! E had a spit up and was up when we were leaving, but she was asleep by the time we go to the library. It was another librarian doing the storytime while Miss Tina is on vacation (well-deserved I think). I'm not sure if it was her, or because it's summer, or it's a different crowd, or what, but my sister (it was her first time at storytime) said, "It's chaos." I mean they're toddlers, but usually there are only 2 or 3 kids that walk around a bit. Today, everyone was all over the place. And twice, I saw parents rushing their kids to get the toys afterwards and ran into other kids...the parents ran into the kids!
In November(?) , I got some books from a Freecycler in my town. She left the books outside her house to be picked up so I never met her. She later posted that she had some tickets for Go-carting. I replied too late, so I didn't get them, but I noticed on her email signature that she had a blog. I stalked her blog, and we emailed a few times. She has 2 little girls too. We became Facebook friends. Today, I actually met my blogging friend at storytime. We actually live really close to each other, but just never got together for the girls to play together.
My sister also got an inflatable swimming pool for M, so she had a lot of fun with my sister and her boyfriend playing in the pool.
The kids are down for the night, and I'm hoping to sleep before 11pm! Wow! Hubby is doing well in SoCal for his training. He's eating quite well, and visiting his cousin's family tomorrow.
