Recipe: Ground Pork & Tofu
So simple. We had this yesterday. Along with tomato (free from backyard) and zuchinni (free from parents' neighbor) in rice. For dessert I made cinnamon tortilla chips. I know, it's a odd combo of foods, but we didn't get a chance to go grocery shopping this past weekend because we were not home. Our tomato count is 22 by the way. And one chayote squash.
-4 oz ground pork (that would be 1/4 lb)
-1 t cornstarch
-1/2 T blackbeans
-2 T soy sauce
-3 cloves garlic, crushed
-1/2 t fresh ginger, minced
-1 packaged tofu, drained and cut (14 oz)
-1/2 cup chicken broth
-1 T cornstarch mixed w/ 1 T water*In bowl, mix pork + cornstarch
*In another bowl, mix blackbeans + soy sauce + garlic + ginger
*Heat skillet med heat
*1 T oil, cook pork
*+bean mix + tofu
*+broth
*Boil
*+ dissolved cornstarch mix
*Thicken
Note: Add more ground pork and black bean sauce.Check out more Recipes!

yum, is this ma-pou tofu? I always cheat and buy the sauce packet.
@O_miss@xanga - yes, but w/o the pepper, i don't do spicy so well, and neither does M.
