Our Week in Photos (11/15-11/21)
We're hosting Thanksgiving Dinner at our place on Saturday, so I'm posting this early. I'm also missing a ton of photos recently since they're in Hubby's camera or my sister's camera since I've been lazy about bringing mine out. At first it was just a small gathering, and then more people were invited, and then still more....I'll let you know how everything turns out.
We went to Papers and Petals in Burlingame on Saturday to try on bridesmaids dresses. Of course, M wanted to try some on too. What little girl doesn't like dressing up? She was particularly excited about the shoe display. The first one was a little ballerina-y for me. The 2nd one costs more than the bridesmaids dresses we tried on. Ridiculous huh? Can't wait to officially go flowergirl dress shopping with sis' fiance's niece.
Gotta get one of E at the end of the night too.
E trying to sit up.
M's "home"
Bathtime for E
I went to change E's diaper one morning. When I went back to check on breakfast, M had set the table.

E trying apple for the first time. She didn't like it as much as we thought she would, but that was a big smile she gave us.
This is after midnight. I have no idea what happened that night. M wandered in and fell asleep on our bed. I had to carry her back to bed, and it's been soooo long since I've done that and I was trying not to laugh as I was carrying her because she's so big now. We're moving the small crib out of our room and moving the big crib in, but hadn't found the time to move it, so E was already on our bed. haha We need to evict these girls.
Happy E under the covers.
E trying bananas. She seems to like it better than the apples.

I think that's the place where I tried on a couple of dresses and where I got Ty's flower girl dress for my wedding. They were PUNKS from what I remember. LOL! Oh well!
She looks beautiful in the little flower girl dress :)
She is sooo cute all dressed up!
TOO cute!
That's so adorable and she so cute in those Flower Girl dresses
that picture of M in the ballerina dress is soooooo cute! flower girl or not, you should get that dress and have M wear it everyday! :)
omg m is sooooooo cute in those flower girl dresses!
i love ur girls! even though i've not met them in person, they r soooo cute i wanna cuddle them! i can't believe M's hair has gotten this long...how do u manage it? my mum used to give me boy haircuts every summer.
awww...both are adorable!
@Our_New_Beginning@xanga - I just read the reviews on yelp. They were okay with us, but not the best service I've seen.
@nycbride07@xanga - @tinakimchan@xanga - @Angel_kia@xanga - @fadingfllowers - @efficientb2@xanga - @pink_is_in_yo@xanga - thanks
@hongfamilia@xanga - i think the ballerina one is about $120 or so...the other is $100 more than that. i think i can find someone to make that ballerina one though.
@Viola_F@xanga - i know! her hair is so long. i haven't had time, but i'm going to study up on haircutting and do it myself. it's probably going to be a trim, and if it doesn't come out right, she has tons more hair for the salon to work with. i haven't read too many good reviews of kids hair places around here.
@mamajoyjoy - my mum signed up for this beginner hair cutting course when we were kids. there were loads of mums doing it...they teach u basic techniques and u can just go home and cut everyone's hair except urs...its a money saver.
I've never been a bridesmaid - Dutch people don't have that tradition... I'd secretly love to be one (hopefully with a tasteful dress, of course!) but hey, I got to be the bride (two dresses - one for the actual ceremony, one for the party two days later) so I guess I shouldn't complain.
M looks gorgeous in both those dresses, though the first one does look like she's trying to be Giselle in Swan Lake
Very cute though...
. More pictures I have yet to upload! I guess trimming a girl's hair might be a little easier than actually doing a "do" on a boy. We've had K's cut so that he can grow it a little - daddy is a rock'n'roll artist after all - can't let the little one look too clean-cut
.
I did cut K's hair myself a coupe of times, but it always turns out shorter than I wanted, so I've recently taken him to a kid's hairdresser. He loved it, because he was allowed to watch a DVD of Bob the Builder while she was cutting his hair
hehe..does ur spoon turn white when its too hot?? lol/
@BeBe_Bum@xanga - no, we just have the regular ones. i usually make sure that it's not too before serving.
